A good remix EP can be hard to pull off. Decisions have to be made like what genres and remixers to include as well as how many should of each should be used. Oftentimes, certain remixes are so good (or certain remixers are so famous) that other remixes that might be good as well just get overshadowed.
Well that is definitely not the case here. Bla Bla Bla (no… not the Ke$ha song) is a track originally released by Italian DJ Gigi D’Agostino way back in 1999, but remixing troupe Bootmasters decided to give it a bit of a rework, and we sure are lucky they did. Not only that, but a host of up-and-coming producers are featured in the remix EP, covering a host of EDM genres, from tech house to hardstyle. I have chosen to feature the Stereoliner, Mike Matthias, and DJ Sequenza remixes so you can get an idea of just how different all of these remixes sound, but seriously…do yourself a favor and go find the other remixes in this EP. I am absolutely blown away by how many genres are represented perfectly in this compilation. I hope I’m not hyping this too much, but this is without a doubt one of the most high-quality remix EPs I have ever heard as a whole.
I can find very little information about Bootmasters online, so please comment if you know more about them!
