Ever since I saw her rock out with David Guetta performing When Love Takes Over at Ultra 2009, I’ve had a special place in my heart for ex-Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland. Continuing her work in the dance genre, she teamed up with Alex Gaudino to produce a bangin’ new track called What a Feeling. Well, the remixes just came out, and there are some stellar reworks of this vocal gem.
Hardwell gets the first spot, and not surprisingly so, as like most of our readers I’m constantly craving for more of his productions. Hardwell’s version is the souped-up original–not straying far in terms of style, but adding trance/house accents and some sweet vocal effects. Promise Land gives us more of an Avicii/SHM/Jean Elan new-house style, before turning Benassi-like at around four minutes in. Simon de Jano is sure to be the most acquired taste of the three remixes, but it’s also one of the most interesting. It’s got some great big-room, festival-geared affects that we might see during all the upcoming summer festivals. Which is your favorite?
