Toronto is well-known for its love of all things EDM and for throwing some of the wildest parties this side of the Atlantic. If you don’t believe me, I suggest checking out The Guvernment on Saturday night. Despite this, the city has never played host to an outdoor, multi-day EDM music festival, at least not until now. Next week, Electronic Nation will be hosting the Digital Dreams Festival, a Canada Day Weekend extravaganza in the heart of downtown Toronto.
The party starts at noon on June 30 and doesn’t end until midnight on Canada Day, right in the heart of Canada’s largest city on its national holiday. A huge crop of names will be performing across the weekend, including worldwide superstars Kaskade, Afrojack, Duck Sauce, Alesso, and Chuckie. I for one cannot wait to see Richie Hawtin for the first time–memories will definitely be made here! Four different stages will be presenting EDM fans with an onslaught of big tunes. Expect to hear huge summer anthems from R3hab, Leventina, and tyDi. Tickets can be purchased on the official festival site here.
