Released back on March 3, 2009, this monster of a track was my first introduction to Shinichi Osawa and now I get pumped whenever a song with his name on it comes my way.
The original version is extremely catchy. But comparing them side by side just shows you Osawa’s creativity as he creates something so original from the vocals. Powerful synths and strong rhythm drive this remix throughout.
It’s beautiful how he recognized the drop in pitch of the vocals at the end of the first verse of the original and turned that into the climax of the remix. The original just sounds incomplete whenever I hear that part. Check out both tracks and compare for yourself.
