Trap Tuesdays is here, so sit down, get yourself a drink, and enjoy this week’s selected tracks. Amazing stuff from Medasin and Alexander Lewis, G L D, and Baht, and something new from trap greenhorns Woolf and the Wondershow.
Kehlani – Down For You (Djemba Djemba Remix)
Djemba Djemba brandishes his incredible production technique with his latest remix. It truly is faultless. You can never go wrong with vocals like that.
Woolf & The Wondershow – Cages (Original Mix)
Something totally fresh this week–I think this is the first song I’ve heard that I think I would call a future-bass ballad. Although it’s verging on boy band bubblegum pop, I think there’s a future for these guys.
Baht – Fever Dream (Original Mix)
Baht’s music is terrifying. The tension-packed builds are completely fresh, but still do not prepare you for those drops. New y-fronts, please.
G L D – champagne_ (Original Mix)
G L D tags this as a belated birthday tribute for Biggie, and I’m sure he’d appreciate it. The amazing sound design in the second drop had me grinning from ear to ear.
Alexander Lewis x Medasin – Coexist (Original Mix)
Theres nothing quite like the excitement of seeing two artists you love in the same song title, and nothing more disappointing than when its completely sh*t. However these guys smashed it beyond repair! Extremely jealous of these guy’s talent.
