Daft Punk’s long-awaited new album Random Access Memories was made available to stream through iTunes yesterday and due to its massive hype and popularity, there has been an extremely high volume of responses to the album. Below is a collection of some of the top artist responses we’ve found.
There seems to be a massive divide between people that found the album groundbreaking and beautiful and those that found it to be boring or not worth the hype. Eric Prydz and 12th Planet showed mixed feelings:

Daft Punk Is Playing At My House so they can sing me to sleep with their new album. (@rukes) May 14, 2013
The Daft album is essentially a cross-section of a crate-digger’s collection. Which is a great thing.

I feel so full and empty. This album is everything i wanted to hear. It’s also so much of what i wanted to make.

Among the positive and negative reviews were also some pretty interesting responses:
Bengalter spends 6 months recording a bass note thru 6 mics and the world hears it as an itunes 128 stream. #2013

Listening to the new Daft Punk album at the Westlake Studio’s in LA. It fits the old school vibe of this studio like a glove!

You want my opinion? If dubstep is “robots fucking” I’d say the new daft punk album is closer to “robots making love”.
— jAAAke (@killthenoise) May 14, 2013
i did not do a song on the new daft punk album because i am scared of robots

Lastly, it seems as if the robot duo has finally decided to enter the Twitterverse:
