TomorrowWorld Reverses Ban On CamelBaks Following Backlash

TomorrowWorld caused a small panic when festival organizers announced that CamelBak water packs were being placed on the “Banned Items List” for this year’s event. After some serious backlash from attendees, TomorrowWorld has reversed their decision and will now allow festivalgoers to bring their water-carrying apparatuses inside the festival.

A petition on was created to help convince SFX management and the TomorrowWorld organizers to reverse their unreasonable ban on CamelBaks. After the petition received over 1,000 signatures in less than a day, organizers were quick to release a statement that they were reversing their decision.

The initial ban may have been following in the footsteps of Electric Zoo, that, as of today, is still supporting its ban on the hydration packs in order to stop attendees from bringing in illicit materials after last year’s tragedies. Instead, the festival plans on having easy-to-find water cup stations. However, if you’ve ever attended a festival, especially one in Atlanta during the summer, you know how important it is to stay hydrated. While water stations can be helpful, it seems like CamelBaks and other hydration packs are the safest and most efficient way to keep hydrated while enjoying your favorite DJs at any festival.
