ID&T’s North American expansion TomorrowWorld released its Phase II lineup, adding Bassnectar, Kaskade, live shows by Porter Robinson and Rudimental, and more to the third annual weekend festival outside Atlanta.
The balanced second addition offers a little bit of everything except possibly for trance, which was represented to an extent in Phase I by Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, and Ferry Corsten. Lucky fans headed to Chattahoochee Hills, Ga. Sept. 25-27 will now catch acts from Bro Safari, Gramatik, and Seven Lions to Maya Jane Coles, The Magician, and Guy Gerber as they join the already-announced 20 names or so in Phase I.
The SFX-owned festival looks to build upon the success of 2014, which not only saw increased attendance, but local economic impact, which rose 16 percent from 2013 to a total of $93 million. For comparison, EDC Las Vegas infused $334 million into the Clark County economy in the same year.
