Tomorrowland Brasil Debut Sells Out In Record Time

Tomorrowland once again proved the strength of their festival brand when new expansion Tomorrowland Brasil sold out in record time.

According to Belgian news outet De Standaard, Tomorrowland’s Brazilian festival sold all 180,000 tickets in three hours on Sept. 6, a record time for Brazil. The Brazilian version of the festival, which was announced during Tomorrowland Belgium in July, will debut May 1-3 in Itu, São Paulo in 2015.

Along with the record-breaking sell-out time, Tomorrowland also saw the debut of their documentary on MTV. Titled Tomorrowland: 10 Years of Unity, Love, Madness, and Magic, it features interviews with David Guetta, Afrojack, Steve Aoki and Kaskade. Footage for the documentary was captured during the 2013 edition of the festival and includes Armin van Buuren‘s unforgettable announcement of his son’s birth just prior to his performance on Tomorrowland’s main stage.
