We’ve got two exclusive premieres from Ultra Records for you here today.
Meet Tom Swoon. He’s remixed for Steve Aoki, Gareth Emery, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. His work’s been supported by Tiesto, Avicii, and David Guetta, and on March 18th, his track Not Too Late is set to release on Ultra.
The Polish prodigy, formerly known as Pixel Cheese, first came to rise when his bootleg mashup Till Sunshine went viral on youtube last year. Since then, he’s been called the Breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2012 by NERVO and tapped as an Artist To Watch in 2013 by Billboard, all at the ripe young age of 19.
Swoon’s latest creation features the beautiful and talented Amba Shepherd, whose majestic voice powered Hardwell’s Apollo. Not Too Late plunges straight into a high-energy buildup that gracefully transitions into a melodic breakdown, allowing Shepherd’s vocals to shine. Raw basslines join with a fast paced synth lead to make for an impressive, masterful drop. A remix by Bassnectar & PatrickReza transforms the track into earth-shattering dubstep that manages to retain the dark atmosphere of the original.
Be sure to pick up Not Too Late on March 18th from Beatport and keep an eye out for the young Tom Swoon on Facebook, Soundcloud, and Twitter as his career rockets into the heavens. Finally, check out the video below for an insight into Tom’s life on the road with Avicii.
