Following the recent success of Evil Lurks alongside Wolfgang Gartner, Cheyenne, and his massive remix of Swedish House Mafia’s Don’t You Worry Child with Kryder, Tom Staar has unleashed a diverse remix package of his looney single Kingdom on Mixmash Records. We have grown accustomed to seeing Staar’s name featured on some of the biggest remix packages of 2012, but, this time, Staar will finally host his own remix package as Kingdom receives a special makeover courtesy of Blasterjaxx, Marc Benjamin and Twinz Beatz.
Amsterdam natives Blasterjaxx tackles the first remix of Kingdom with a heavy Dutch sound. With an interesting synth pattern and piercing leads, this remix is sure to have you dancing regardless of if you’re in a club or just kickin’ back at home. You may recognize Blasterjaxx from their Reborn EP with D-Rashid, which was released in early December and has received heavy support from the scene’s biggest DJs. Next up on remix duty is fellow Dutch native Marc Benjamin, who transforms Staar’s aggressive original mix into an euphoric progressive anthem. Unlike his remixing counterparts, Benjamin turns his focus to the melody and delivers a festival-size remix just in time for the year’s first massives. Lastly, Miami-based duo Twinz Beatz does the unthinkable and gives Kingdom a serious trap makeover with a fresh bassline and bubble-blasting complementary synths.
