We recently saw German producer Zedd’s electro house dominance when his recent remix of David May’s Facebook Love clocked in at #10 on our Top 25 countdown. Luckily for us, the young artist has been on a streak of releasing bombs, showing his ability to produce out-of-this-world remixes of some top mainstream tracks, as well as his understanding of deadly big room house as well.
By remixing the Black Eyed Peas latest single, The Time (Dirty Bit), Zedd not only got the influence of his sick melodic beats out to a greater audience, but he also stepped up to the plate as someone confident enough to represent the more electro side of things to the increasingly EDM-influenced mainstream world. The track itself is nothing short of what you would expect from the young producer. It’s energetic, technical, and layered with enough precision to demand the respect from everybody from Skrillex to BEP themselves.
Next is Zedd’s remix of FLX’s track I Feel Untouched, which throws any notion that Zedd is limited to strictly electro house right out the window. An uplifting melody turns dark enough to shake a dancefloor real quick, and hell is it sweet. If you’re a fan of big boisterous beats, this track is sure to top your playlists for months to come.
