Twenty-two year old progressive artist from Canada Colin Fisher, aka Soundprank, is already touring alongside Above & Beyond and will even be performing at the Anjunabeats Ice Palace event in Miami at the end of March. Rising quickly to stardom, Colin Fisher brings with him a fresh, deep sound worthy of the Anjunadeep stamp. So worthy, in fact, that he made it onto Anjunadeep:03.
Embodying the key elements of what makes progressive house so beautiful, Soundprank dug into 2006 to remix Belong by Spooky. Standing out for its bottomless atmosphere, his rendition has quite righteously made a name for his Soundprank project. Also on the third Anjunadeep volume, The Far Side harbors the most liquid arpeggios possible and contains a self-conscious bassline that doesn’t try to outdo itself. Even incorporating breaks into the mix, Soundprank spared no details in polishing off every aspect of this track. Also a favorite over at Armada, Soundprank’s entrancing Coastal remix of Lost in Vagueness by UK artist Maxi Valvona was chosen to start off Max Graham’s Cycles Volume 2. Keep an eye on this guy; all the big names are loving him.
