Clicking clocks, atmospheric synth pads that give you a warm, fuzzy, feeling–it’s time for some new Moonbeam music! Renowned for their creative multi-genre style, Moonbeam manages to score again with another impressive original and some great remixes. Releasing on German dance label Traum, Motus marks a return to techno for the Russian duo. It’s far more understated, and less melodic than their proggy tracks like Hate Is Killer or Introspection Attempts, but still has traces of their melancholic melodic flair.
Spartaque ramps up Motus with a high-driving tech bass line, turning it into a late-night club banger. Mark Reeve takes the original in a completely different direction, restructuring the beat to give a deeper, more laid back vibe; it would be a great warm-up track in a live set.
