When Armin van Buuren drops your track Jynx and explodes the crowd at his A State Of Trance 500 celebration in Den Bosch, The Netherlands, it’s kind of a big deal. With slamming kicks and a hard electro bassline, fist-pumping banger Jynx by Ashley Wallbridge was born to tear up even the most tired dancefloors. Making sure to offer a bit of contrast, his calming breakdown gently explores the melodic side of the young UK DJ before diving straight back into mayhem.
Initially breaking through big in 2009 with his powerful vocal collaboration Faces with Andy Moor and Meighan Nealon, Ashley has been earning attention from all the right people. This track’s success swept the world and earned him plenty of gigs globally. Having paved the way with hard productions, he recently drew inspiration from the world of classical music. Digging up Ludwig van Beethoven’s timeless Moonlight Sonata, his interpretation was well-received by the trance family’s limitless hunger for classical influence.
