Fedde le Grand is back with with another grand slam of a track called Autosave, and this time around he’s teamed up with German-born Patric la Funk on a truly standout house tune that is quickly being picked up and spun around the world. During our interview with him, Fedde described his sound as “funky techno twist,” and I think you’ll find that description particularly fitting on this record. It’s got a nice mix of sounds, ranging from electro to more trance-y synths and house-style piano. There are even some laser sounds thrown in there to get you in the mood.
2011 is already shaping up to be a big year for the DJ/producer who seems to very much have his finger on the pulse of today’s world of EDM. After delivering an incredible performance at last year’s Electric Zoo in New York City as well as many others along his busy tour schedule, Fedde has firmly cemented himself as a name to know in the scene. So what’s the connection between le Grand and la Funk? Well, it turns out la Funk held a residency at le Grand’s insanely successful Flamingo Nights party, so that may have something to do with it.
