One of the most influential producers in the history of progressive trance, Andy Moor is famous for his many iconic tracks, like Air for Life with Above & Beyond and Daydream with Markus Schulz. This September, the UK DJ has proudly released his new vocal hit Fight The Fire on his label AVA Recordings (official video below). Reaching the top of the Beatport trance chart, it features the touching vocals of Sue McLaren, who has her voice served by a round of Andy Moor’s trademark vocal chops during the bridge at 5:42.
Never knowing what to expect from the Grammy award-winning producer, this year Andy Moor creatively remixed Rachel’s Song off of the 1982 Blade Runner soundtrack. Rather than going for fist-pumping basslines, the tune aims for a somber mood, with vocals gently flowing over the beats. Also earlier this year, Moor released the second volume of his Breaking The Silence series. Running with smooth progressive house and progressive trance, the two-part mix compilation introduced his collaboration Spirits Pulse with M.I.K.E.. Wielding hard electro basslines, the vocals in this one are truly dreamy.
