The End Of The World As We Know It
Steve Aoki & Angger Dimas feat My Name Is Kay - Singularity (Original Mix) [Dim Mak]
Steve Aoki & Dan Sena feat Miss Palmer - Omega (Original Mix) [Dim Mak]
Steve Aoki feat Rune RK - Transcend (Original Mix) [Dim Mak]

During our interview with Steve Aoki before his birthday bash in Los Angeles last month, he told us he would be dropping a new EP full of dynamic collaborations in celebration of the upcoming Doomsday. It’s The End of The World As We Know It, out now on Dim Mak Records, is the latest beastly bundle to stem from the lab of Aoki & friends. With each production representing a different genre and capturing a different mood, It’s The End of The World As We Know It delivers a package unmatched by previous EPs with a collection of big room electro and uplifting progressive elements.

The first tune off the EP, and my personal favorite, is Singularity alongside Angger Dimas and My Name Is Kay. Aoki and Dimas are no strangers to the collaboration game as they combine their big room sound to deliver what Aoki calls “a mega, mega track” that matches the intensity and uniqueness of previous collaborations. With the sexy vocals of My Name Is Kay, who was featured on Aoki’s Control Freak, this energetic rave collab is set to destroy audiences worldwide. Omega is a bass-heavy, somewhat complextro tune highlighted by a beautiful melody and vocals from one of my favorite artists Miss Palmer, whom you may recognize from No Beef and Felix Cartal’s Black To White. Transcend is a masterful composition of progressive bliss courtesy of Aoki and Danish producer Rune Reilly Kolsh, better known as Rune RK. With a ravishing melody and addicting synth work, Transcend elevates It’s The End Of The World As We Know It to an abstract collection of electronic diversity. Support the Dim Mak family while you can and pick up this EP just in time for Doomsday on Beatport.
