The Crystal Method Releases Self-Titled Studio Album
The Crystal Method - Emulator (Original Mix) [Tiny e]
The Crystal Method feat. Dia Frampton - Over It (Original Mix) [Tiny e]
The Crystal Method feat. Le Castle Vania - Storm The Castle (Original Mix) [Tiny e]

For more than two decades, Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland, the quirky geniuses behind The Crystal Method have been admired (and often feared) for their unorthodox approach to electronic music. Together, they have dominated the remix, film soundtrack, television, gaming, and advertising worlds, most recently collaborating with Hollywood veteran Danny Elfman on the soundtrack of Reel Steel and JJ Abrams similarly on Almost Human. The “method” is that they explore the inner, outer, and least explored depths of electronic music, connecting with cross-genre components and unexpected vocalists for a mysterious mosaic of sound. So what follows TV, film, countless chart hits, the first music collaboration with Nike, and the platinum success of Vegas? More unfathomable exploration, of course…

The duo continues to explore various directions made possible by electronic music with their self-titled studio album, The Crystal Method, out now on Tiny e. This album is the definition of electronic music–it does not shy from heavy drums, hard-hitting bass, high intensity builds, and that big room sound we love. Emulator and Storm The Castle are festival-esque medleys equipped with chunky basslines and warped tones that pack lot of punch. The labored pads and piercing percussions of Jupiter Shift and Dosimeter play midway as the album’s climax tracks, before Afrobeta’s lush vocals heard on After Hours cool down the tempo for the triumphant close. Other surprise guests include LeAnn Rimes, mau5trap’s Le Castle Vania, Franky Perez, and Dia Frampton–a The Voice contestant featured on Over It, the album’s first single. Recently described as “meticulous club music emphasizing silky grooves and sculptured adrenaline rushes” [-Alternative Press], The Crystal Method is for those that often step outside of their listening comfort zone.
