Deep/Tech | HearThuG – Büms & Yüth EP [Sincopat]
It’s been one hell of a year for 24-year-old Tunisian producer HearThuG. In 2014 alone he’s graced high profile imprints like My Favorite Robot and Audiomatique, and done serious damage to dancefloors worldwide. Rounding out 2014 in style, HearThuG drops another double A-sider of dark, moody tech house through Sincopat that includes remixes from UNER and Darlyn Vlys. Get it here.
Tech/Electro | K1T – La Flare (Original Mix) [Plasma.Digital]
This week, K1T brings back the mid-’00s electro house flavor with his latest, La Flare. Packed with punchy low end and crunchy saws, La Flare bigs up the funk factor with style and groove in one of EDM’s most ubiquitous genres. Grab it here.
Deep/Tech | Lutzenkirchen – Sky Ballad EP [Frequenza]
Tech House veteran Lutzenkirchen returns to the fold this week with his latest dream-injected EP, Sky Ballad. Fitted with a loose shuffle and floating synths suited for sunrise moments, this is one we’re hoping catches on now so we can hear it well into open air season. Pick it up here.
Deep/Tech | Adam Beyer – You’re The Same EP [Truesoul]
Techno don Adam Beyer has released a new three-track EP on Drumcode subsidiary Truesoul, and it shows off the funkier side of Beyer. You may recognize Valium & LFOs given its inclusion in Beyer’s landmark Amnesia Terrace set for Cocoon that was later broadcast as part of his Drumcode Live radio show. It has also made frequent appearances in the sets of Richie Hawtin and Joseph Capriati. Don’t think this EP is a one-hit wonder, though; every track is a gem. Give it a listen here.
House | Low Steppa – So Real EP [Simma Black]
Up-and-coming UK house producer Low Steppa is currently make a splash on the Beatport house charts with his soulful So Real EP, and we think this one’s gonna push him directly into the limelight. Featuring an original and club mix of the title track (which draws it’s vocal samples from Debelah Morgan’s ’90s hit I Love You), as well as a swingin’ B-side called The Panel, this EP is releasing at the perfect time for the sound contained within.
