SZA Gets Nostalgic With Chance The Rapper and XXYYXX On ‘Child’s Play’

Two weeks after releasing her heavenly Babylon video, SZA has shared another dreamy track, Child’s Play.

Recently becoming the first non-rapper to sign with Top Dawg Entertainment, SZA is gearing up to release her debut album Z on April 8. In the past, SZA has lent her angelic vocals to a number TDE superstars like Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and Schoolboy Q. Today, she shares her very own collaboration with Chance The Rapper.

Child’s Play is a lulling and pensive track from the young R&B singer. The song features celestial production from Florida producer XXYYXX and a delightfully spastic verse from Chance The Rapper. Tender beats cover a field of minimal, elegant synth as SZA croons about getting lost in Nintendo’s Street Fighter and a longing to abandon reality for her childhood.

Z is out April 8 via TDE.
