TranceDrive

TranceDrive

TranceDrive is, well, you guessed it, a Trance synthesizer. It utilizes subtractive synthesis with three oscillators that have six waveforms including a nice supersaw. Of the six waveforms, there is one called “cry” that is built up with several hardsynced saws for some seriously fat sounds. Load TranceDrive into your DAW, and add an arpeggiator for trance mayhem. TranceDrive has plenty of knobs to tweak, but everything is laid out on a well-designed interface that makes it simple to use. It is available in Windows VST format.

Features

  • Three oscillators
  • Each oscillator supports six waveforms: sine, saw, triangle, pulse, saw7, cry
  • The waveform “saw7″ is a supersaw with 7 detunable sub oscillators
  • The waveform “cry” is an experimental waveform, it is built up with several hardsynced saws
  • Separate noise oscillator
  • Three LFOs, each supports five waveforms: sine, saw, triangle, pulse, sample and hold
  • The LFOs can be synchronized to the host tempo or run free at a specific frequency
  • Three types of filters: lowpass, highpass and bandpass
  • Each filter type can be set to 6dB, 12dB, 18dB and 24dB steepness
  • Nine effects, and they can be used at the same time: gater, chorus, phaser, flanger, distortion, delay, reverb, equalizer, stereo-effects
