In this week’s edition of Spotify Spotlight we are covering Kitsuné, one of the funkiest indie/nu disco labels ever created. Hailing out of Paris, France, Kitsuné (which translates to “fox” in Japanese) was created in 2002 as both a music and fashion label after founders Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki took a trip to Japan. Since its inception, the label has been host to releases from several major artists in the indie electronic music scene including Digitalism, Shinichi Osawa, Years & Years, and many others.
This week’s playlist includes a collection of several of the most recent releases on the label. Listen to the playlist on Spotify here, or in the player below, and check out previous Spotify Spotlight playlists here under Public Playlists.
