Rapping over dubstep may be nothing new, but I’ll tell you one thing–it keeps getting iller and iller. Ladies and gentlemen, I throw at you the latest grime on Sludge Records, Ridin. There’s a way to do it right and a way to do it wrong, and Ed Solo did it awesome.
Following in the footsteps of Zeds Dead and Bassnectar, Ed Solo worked with Orlando, Florida’s dubstep tag team AfroWhitey to throw together a filthy, head-nodding jam born to pour the genre’s foulest down your ears. Using plenty of 8-bit melodies and ground-shaking bass, AfroWhitey’s team, made up of MC DeeRobes and DJ Dustin Hulton, were dealt a seriously dirty makeover.
