AC Slater likes BASS. From his Heavy Bass Champions of the World release to his recent collaboration on Bart B More’s Big Bass EP, he’s made that statement pretty clear. Now he’s returned with a new track, with an elaborate title: Big Brooklyn Bass. Repping his home town of Brooklyn, this track lives up to the name. Gritty, and rhythmically catchy, Slater fuses elements of fidget, old school rave, and big bass to produce one helluva banger.
Coming off a busy summer of collaborations with Bart B More and Xaphoon Jones of Chiddy Bang, Big Brooklyn Bass shouldn’t be the last single we see from Slater in the near future. With another release set for winter, it’s hard to contain my excitement to see what the bass master has planned for us. For those of you who have yet to experience the full might of the Slater bass, be sure to check out his remix of I’m On It.
