It’s been a busy month so far for Sonny Moore. Just one week after he dropped a brand-new remix for Chase & Status’ new album and a list of cities for his upcoming Fall Club Tour, Skrillex returns with the Try It Out EP, a three-track collaborative project with fellow OWSLA teammate Alvin Risk. The EP features three very distinct mixes of Try It Out, a hard-hitting piece of dubstep filth that has been floating around online for over a year. The duo apparently created eight different mixes of the song in total, and five versions still remain unreleased.

First up is the Neon Mix, which Skrill first previewed during his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. It’s accompanied by an awesome music video that the guys said, “we made with all our friends!” including 12th Planet, Boys Noize, Diplo, Gesaffelstein, Knife Party, and even actor Jack Black.

The Try Harder Mix kicks things into a completely different gear, adding a downright paralyzing second drop–definitely my favorite of the bunch. Last but not least is the Put Em Up Mix, which is an awesome amalgamation of Try It Out and Alvin Risk’s own Put Em Up, which he released as part of his Junk Food EP last May (free download here). The Try It Out EP is available on iTunes and Beatport, so grab it now and try it out.
