2014 just kicked off in a big way. Following his session with rising Australian producer Flume only a few days ago, Skrillex has now hopped into the studio with A$AP Rocky and another Aussie producer, Emoh Instead who, alongside Flume, makes up the duo What So Not.
The artists happened to all be in Australia after performing separate shows at Shore Thing at Bondi Beach on New Year’s Eve, and Field Day on New Year’s Day. Stoney Roads writes that “according to sources,” the talented trio hit up Studios 301 to hang out, and Sonny and Emoh began working on a new track together.
Wild For The Night, the hit 2013 collab between Skrillex and A$AP Rocky, already proved the wicked combination that results from A$AP’s bars and Skrill’s heavy bass. On top of that, Sonny’s OWSLA label is responsible for several of What So Not’s latest releases. We can’t wait to hear what they come up with next.
