WEDIDIT beatsmith Shlohmo (pictured) and R&B crooner Jeremih go together like peanut butter and jelly–Shlohmo’s fat, crunchy beats perfectly mesh with Jeremih’s sweet and syrupy falsetto vocals. This winning combo is in full effect on No More, the latest collaborative effort from the two artists.
No More follows last year’s Bo Peep (Do U Right), as well as Shlohmo’s remix of Jeremih’s Fuck U All The Time. Like those tracks, No More’s sexy slow-motion beat growls and lumbers underneath a veritable choir of pleading, insistent vocals from the Chicago singer, whose dread and desperation threaten to boil over at every turn.
No More comes from Shlohmo and Jeremih’s forthcoming joint EP, expected to see release in the near future via WEDIDIT/Def Jam. Download No More for free over at NPR.
