Shingo's Prank on Fisher
Soundprank - Burner (Original Mix) [Silk Digital]
Soundprank - Burner (Shingo Nakamura Remix) [Silk Digital]
Kazusa & Shingo Nakamura - Dice (Original Mix) [Solaris]

In our insightful interview with Canada’s progressive prodigy Colin Fisher aka Soundprank, we mentioned to him that Shingo Nakamura from Otographic Music expressed an interest in working with him. Replying with sincere interest, the two got together and now we’re blessed a Shingo Nakamura remix on Silk Digital’s new release Burner.
Much like the stove’s steady flame on the EP’s cover, the original version of Burner exercises a gentle, calming groove. A supremely melodic piece, Soundprank tastefully tops off a minimal xylophone with a retro keyboard.

Underlining once more how EDM connects people around the world, Shingo Nakamura’s version is quite beautiful. The magnificent breakdown has some of the most sentimental piano play I have ever listened to. A collaboration made in heaven, this is just the kind of surreal harmony progressive fans yearn for.
One of our favorites here at LessThan3 since having launched our Tokyo Bliss podcast, Shingo has been producing more wonders of his own as well. His track with Kazusa, Dice, is a definite mood-setter with plenty of deep emotion.
