Seth Troxler took a break from his beats and comedic DJ bashing to focus his attention on the homeless in Amsterdam, joining 10,000 HOURS, Amsterdam Dance Event, and De Regenboog Groep to cook and serve food for hungry mouths in the city.
A three-time winner of the the annual ADE DJ Cook Off, Chef Troxler will be cooking a complete three-course meal for 75 patrons at one of the walk-in centers of De Regenboog Groep.
This is not the outspoken DJ’s first time serving the homeless. “A friend of mine does a thing in Sydney, where he feeds the homeless every Tuesday,” Troxler told Amsterdam Dance Event. “Whenever I’m there I help him out. I’m happy to serve people, that is always the best part.”
Whether serving up choice tunes to a festival crowd, or food to the homeless, it’s clear that Seth Troxler is a little more altruistic than he’s given credit. He will appear as this year’s ADE DJ Cook Off judge, where Kolsch, Carl Cox, Joseph Capriati, and others will compete for the title. You can purchase a Amsterdam Dance Event conference ticket here.
