Our man Style of Eye recently came out with a big remix of Tony Senghore’s new Go Tigers. The track is originally a cheer-led housey shake-up, but the Stockholm producer gave it a helluvan electro twist, with some proper Dutch flare. The track layers melodies incredibly, adding the perfect nuance when it seems like there’s no more room in the track.
If you’re not familiar with Tony Senghore, well… the guy’s been called the godfather of the Dutch house sound (though he is Swedish). Listen to his tunes and you’ll find that even if you don’t agree with his musical tastes, the production value is definitely there. Check out Anagogue, a track he worked on last year with none other than electro-techno badass Brodinski. This one moves with a Boys Noize groove to it–busy electro with a dark techy influence. If you dig that one, take a listen to the remix Senghore did for Brodisnki’s Arnold Classics. Ahem, allow me to correct myself. It’s not just any remix; it’s a Tony Senghore Pork & Soda remix.
