A New Horizon For Saer
Saer - Event Horizon (Original Mix) [Sounds Of Elysium]

It’s always good to see an upcoming producer on the scene gain some support from the big names, but few have managed it quite like Miami-based producer Saer. Most guys build things up slowly after a few initial releases, but Saer’s debut track Event Horizon has gone straight to the top, with support from the likes of Markus Schulz and Sunny Lax (the latter including it in his ABGT guest mix).

Event Horizon is a solid piece of Audien-esque big room trance, only a little more lush and laid-back–the big saw riffs in the drop feel less urgent than in most tracks of this ilk, yet it’s still got plenty of energy. With some nasty bass riffs and some big stompy percussion, Event Horizon is big room but more subtle, and there’s a certain quality about Saer’s production that hints at the chill-out style as much as the uplifting trance the genre grew from.

Event Horizon is out now on Sounds Of Elysium, and if it’s indicative of Saer’s talent in the studio, it should be the start of a long and successful career.
