Scottish bass-peddler Rustie debuted the video for his single Boatsss today, featuring a long string of Dalit (“untouchable”) faces affected by violence and discrimination in India due to their mixed background.
The track features signature Rustie flair full of undulating bass and samples young voices from the the Light Of Love children’s choir, as do the rest of the tracks on the double-disc Boats compilation designed to aid these perceived-second-class children. Rustie’s Boatsss will be joined by originals from names like Four Tet, Dan Deacon, and more in the official release in January.
