On Monday, the Red Bull Music Academy revealed the complete program of the 15th edition of the music festival and conference spectacular. From April 28th to May 31st, over 230 artists from 35 different countries will play at 34 venues in New York City.
Notable highlights among the diverse selection of parties, exhibitions, lectures, and record fairs are: an installation of Brian Eno’s 77 Million Paintings; Giorgio Moroder’s first-ever DJ set; A Talk With Erykah Badu; Flying Lotus; Masters of Work DJ Set; The Bunker with Andy Stott; Classic Album Sundays: A David Bowie Special; Four Tet and Special Guests; Dark Disco with Metro Area and Gerd Janson; The Roots of Dubstep with Skream, Mala, Plastician, and Hatcha; and the 12th anniversary party for NYC’s DFA Records.
The Academy began in 1998 with stops in Berlin, Cape Town, São Paulo, Barcelona, London, and Toronto. This is the academy’s second New York edition.
