Rising New York City producer Prince Fox has been annihilating everything he’s touched as of late, and if you don’t believe me, you need only check some of the my recent Friday Favorites picks. Following a series of high profile remixes of deadmau5, 3LAU, and Sam Smith, the last of which reaching over 1 million plays on SoundCloud, the talented young producer has turned his attention towards remixing Florence and the Machine’s seminal classic, You’ve Got The Love.
Flo’s stunning 2009 single may have already received a plethora of remixes–most notably Mark Knight’s all time classic–but the Prince definitely leaves his mark. Perhaps the only thing more epic than Florence’s godly vocals, which PF has switched up and weaved around a haunting piano line, is the thunderously triumphant future bass explosion that follows. Similar to Flume’s remix of Lorde’s Tennis Court, Prince Fox has managed to transform a well-known hit into a bubbly, bouncy bevy of booty-shaking beauty.
There’s no official release date yet on the remix, but head on over to his SoundCloud for more tracks.
