ZeroThree may be a relative newcomer to the scene, but they’re a label who works tirelessly to push the boundaries of what dance music can offer. In just 18 months the label has released music from the likes of Maor Levi, Grum, and Fehrplay, and now they’re about to drop a new compilation series titled #REALPROG, and LessThan3 has the exclusive premiere of one of its tracks.
Auru is the work of young Australian producer Walden, who makes his debut on ZeroThree with a piece of progressive big room house that perfectly sums up what the label is aiming for. Lush synths, solid rhythms, and feel-good vibes are at the core of the track, with a touch of house and a taste of trance that nicely treads the line between the two genres. Walden’s work has a hint of Audien about it, combined with an ’80s edge that lies somewhere between Joonas Hahmo and Michael Cassette. It certainly bodes well for the rest of the compilation, which is bursting with 13 new tunes from the likes of Sunny Lax, Mat Fax, and plenty more.
#REALPROG is available from Oct. 5 via Beatport, so make sure to grab your copy.
