Indonesian producer LTN is about to release his debut studio album People I’ll Never Forget, and here at LessThan3, we’re proud to bring you an exclusive first listen of one of the tracks on offer, a gorgeous piece of progressive goodness featuring the vocals of Diana Leah.
If you’re not already familiar with his lush and addictive sound, Crystalline is a pretty good introduction to LTN and indeed the album as a whole. Mixing elements of uplifting, driving progressive rhythms, and a delicate touch of chill-out, Crystalline highlights LTN’s ability to put good, honest songwriting at the core of his tracks. It’s all too easy when making an album to trot out a bunch of B-sides that could easily get lost in your average club set, but People I’ll Never Forget is a surprisingly rare example of a long-player that seems to have been tackled with heart and feeling, attention to flow, and a real sense that the album is meant to be listened to. That doesn’t mean to say that none of the tracks are club friendly–Somebody I Could Be and Spirit In The Sky will certainly get a dancefloor moving–but overall, this is one to experience in full on a decent pair of headphones.
