For the seasoned D&B connoisseur, the RAM Records’ Dimensions series is always a place to find some of the best tunes the genre has to offer–RAM bosses Andy C and Red One personally select the tracks that appear on the seminal series. From fledgling acts like Rene LaVice to seasoned vets like Cyantific, the list of talented producers that have appeared on Dimensions over the years reads like a who’s who of the current landscape of D&B. One such act that appeared back in 2012 is none other than streaking D&B duo June Miller.
June Miller have enjoyed much success since debuting on RAM Records. From playing shows like Outlook Festival and Fabric Nightclub to appearing on Andy C’s ubiquitous Nightlife series, the duo have become permanent fixtures in a scene as transient as a snare drum. Two releases later, June Miller now readies a new EP set for a Jan. 19 release which serves as a prelude to their forthcoming album. Titled Ups & Downs, the 4-track EP delivers everything from gritty synthetics to irresistible grooves and also features a co-production with white-hot producer Mefjus.
LessThan3 is proud to share the premiere of The Promise Ring–the EP’s most sultry track and June Miller’s most versatile production to date. Featuring a bubbling bassline, feverish vocal, and frenzied break, The Promise Ring is the perfect addition to your D&B playlist.
