Calvin Harris and HAIM (pictured above) release the video for Pray to God, and it’s got us thinking we too should channel our inner sorceress to hangout with wolves and lions atop snow-capped mountains.
Pray to God, off Harris’ Motion album, conjures serious ’80s retro vibes with guitar lines that sound reminiscent of Stevie Nicks’ solo hit Edge of Seventeen, but maybe that’s what happens when you enlist the indie-pop talent of HAIM. It’s a perfect marriage of both Harris’ talent and the power behind the HAIM sisters, and the video captures that rawness in sensational form.
The music video was directed by Emil Nava who has worked with Harris on previous music videos and directed videos for Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, and Jennifer Lopez. You can check out more of his work at his website here.
