UPDATE: Event organizers Committee Entertainment and AEG Live released a statement Nov. 26 citing “unforeseen logistical issues” beyond their control as the cause of police and fire presence at the Dada Land Miami show and resulting cancellation Nov. 23.
In addition to their apologies, the organizers are offering fans full refunds or the option to attend a Dada Life show Dec. 28 in a South Florida venue TBA. More info and ticket refund links are available here.
Dada Life posted a message to fans:
As promised, we wanted to address the cancellation of the show on Saturday night and give out some details on the refund process and the make up show that we’re planning.
So what happened? There were ongoing issues with the logistics and production of the show, hence us having to move the venue on Thursday morning to keep the show and then we had continuing issues on the night of the show. It seems the fire marshall closed down the event after a gate was broken through.
This wasn’t a promoter error and nor was the venue oversold… we were told the venue was at capacity, when it clearly wasn’t and we weren’t allowed to let anyone else in… It was cold, rainy, and most of you had been waiting out there for hours… the fence got broken… guess we were all Born To Rage!
So here’s what’s going to happen… we are going to play a make up show in the South Florida area on December 28th. The venue is still TBD as we’re working out the details (and making sure the same issues don’t happen again) but it will be on that date.
If you bought a ticket to the Compound show on Nov 23 in Miami then keep hold of your ticket and it will function as your ticket to the event on Dec 28th… no need to do anything else. If you bought a physical ticket and still have it, bring that along. If you had your physical ticket take at the venue go HERE and see the instructions.. make sure to tell them you want a ticket to the new event rather than a refund.

The apparently not-so-sovereign nation of Dada Land came under police occupation Friday when the Miami PD arrived in riot gear and ended the show early.
After having the gates locked by the fire marshall, miami police arrived in numbers and protective equipment, ending the show during Tritonal’s set, before Dada Life and Henry Fong.
Apparently fire marshall locked the gates since it's pretty much chaos here in Dada Land. We have to let him know the rules of Dada!— Dada Life (@dadalife) November 24, 2013
Things got wild in Dada Land!! Miami police shut down the Compound as our set was ending, @dadalife fans are unreal!!— Tritonal (@Tritonal) November 24, 2013
Multiple sources are claiming this was a result of the promoters overselling tickets, but no official statements have yet surfaced to support this claim. Dada was on the scene to bring fans the story firsthand:
Riot squad is here in Dada Land... They're shutting us down. It's out of our hands! So sad we can't play. We know you were born to rage!— Dada Life (@dadalife) November 24, 2013
Henry Fong didn’t care to hold back when his set was also cancelled:

Always thinking of their obviously rabid fans, Dada issued a statement via Twitter the next morning assuring all will be made right:
Getting more details on what happened but 2 things will happen: 1) EVERYONE will be getting a refund. 2) we’ll be doing a make up show— Dada Life (@dadalife) November 24, 2013
