So we’ve all heard Swedish House Mafia’s One more times than we’d like to admit. We love it, don’t get us wrong, but we’re ready for another absolute club destroyer mega-hit. Good news: that day has arrived, at last. Die For Love is a new original from Klingenberg & Dave Darell, and it is absolutely massive. Released on Bazooka records, this massive club banger is based on a fresh beat that I haven’t really heard before. But here I am already getting ahead of myself. Let me take a few steps back….
The track begins with a melodic piece with some nice synth action, then proceeds to soften into a beautiful piano portion. After something as emotional as that, it’s no wonder that the absolute banger of a drop is so completely entrancing. What’s especially perfect about this track is the 3:00-3:15 section which serves as a perfect transition between the earlier section and the bomb. Expect the crowd to completely lose it when they hear this part. Then, before the thought of the insanity getting repetitive crosses your mind, the duo exit that section and return to something more proggy to leave you feeling completely refreshed when you’re done listening.
Wow, I feel almost like I just went on a roller coaster ride even discussing this track. I think I’ll end here. Comments welcomed and appreciated, as usual!
