A little over a year removed from his genre-blending debut album Etude, young trance phenom Nhato returns with his first batch of singles since his acclaimed album in the form of the double-sided release Eureka/Past & Then.
With no shortage of originality or cutting edge complexity, which is what we’ve come to love and expect from the Japanese luminary, Nhato reaffirms why he’s been at the top of our radar since 2010. The first single, Eureka, is an amalgamation of Nhato’s futuristic trance sound and crisp, punchy percussion work, reminiscent of the like of another phenomenal young producer who hails from France, Madeon. Regardless if your a fan of gritty complextro, soothing progressive, or uplifting and melodic trance, this bombastic hybrid will hit home for any listener looking to jazz up their day. But if you’re really looking for a jumpstart to your busy day, look no further than the bass-possessed Past & Then. This growling monster, equipped with an unexpected and absolutely filthy dubstep breakdown, is a true testament to Nhato’s superior skill level and his willingness to experiment, and ultimately kick ass, outside of his own comfort zone.
