Mysteryland No Longer A Mystery

No more guessing–Mysteryland officials announced Dec. 3 that the four-day festival will make its US debut May 23-26 at the hallowed hippie burial grounds of Woodstock ’69 in Bethel Woods, NY.

Along with the sweet teaser video below, Mysteryland revealed ticketing details, with day passes starting at $109 and weekend passes at $179.

Dating back all the way to 1993 in one form or another, Mysteryland is one of the longest-running events in electronic music, and the famed festie will feel out its first foray onto US soil, appropriately enough, where another very historical event took place. Robert F.X. Sillerman, whose SFX Entertainment owns ID&T, the company behind Mysteryland, said in a press release that the event marks a kind of revolution in society that Woodstock signified.

“Mysteryland has had a tremendous impact on the music world and it is the logical festival to follow in the footsteps of the original ground-breaking music event, Woodstock.”

With only 20,000 tickets per day, the event is being billed as somewhat exclusive, including single-day and weekend tickets ranging from $109 to premiere Mysteryland B’n’B VIP tents for $1,999. On-site camping will be available with limited capacity. Jet-setters and the like also have access to what they’re calling the “Nomadic Journey” pass, which includes travel to all three Mysterylands on three continents (North America, South America, and Europe). Check out the entire ticketing range here.
