British post-punk dance outfit Klaxons are getting ready to release their new album Love Frequency in just a few short weeks. The band unveiled the album’s fourth single Show Me A Miracle earlier this month and it’s already attracted a remix from Bristol-based duo My Nu Leng.
With a number of EPs under their belt, My Nu Leng have seen massive success in the UK with their remixes of Naughty Boy, Rudimental, and Clean Bandit. The duo now lends a personal touch to Klaxons’ Show Me A Miracle. Massive amounts of bass engulf the already synth-laden number and warp around the upbeat vocals, twisting it into a dark, electronic beast of a track.
Klaxons bassist Jamie Reynolds described the album as “classy and euphoric,” saying: “It covers left-field electronica and pop. It’s where we always said we were gonna place ourselves–it just took us a while to learn how to get there.” No doubt the band’s most ambitious album to date, Love Frequency features a list of juggernaut collaborations, including LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands, electronic duo Gorgon City, producer Erol Alkan and more.
Love Frequency is out June 16 via Akashic Records.
