The video for Right Now offers a behind-the-scenes look at the recording of The London Sessions, Mary J. Blige’s forthcoming record. Shot entirely in black-and-white, scenes of London are interspersed throughout studio footage of Blige working with her team of producers, including brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. The track itself is a wonderfully crafted mix of R&B from Blige and pristine production from Disclosure.
In addition to Disclosure, The London Sessions also features collaborations from Sam Smith and producer Jimmy Napes. According to Blige, the R&B star wanted to create an experimental album that reflected the culture of the current dance scene in London.
