Chances are that you’ve heard of Martin Garrix. If you haven’t, the 17-year-old sensation happens to be responsible for the biggest dance anthem of 2013, Animals. Hardly content with going platinum and signing with Universal, the Notorious G.R.X. returns with his newest single, Wizard, a high-intensity collaboration with Jay Hardway set to be released on Spinnin’ Records.
Wizard first premiered during the Amsterdam Dance Event 2013, when Tiësto personally invited Martin on stage to play the track, which I have to admit is all kinds of awesome. In a similar vein to his breakout hit Animals, the track features a progressive, melodic build and a bigtime festival-ready drop. Garrix and Hardway don’t reinvent the wheel by any means, but it should definitely keep the raucous crowds moving, and it serves as a solid follow-up to the summer’s biggest hit.
