UK producer TÂCHES has been making some serious noise over the last year with his electrifying house tracks like Don’t You Know, Paris, and, most recently, Malindi. The London-based producer has now teamed up with fellow Londoner and South African-native Sonder to release a brand new track, Noir.
Sonder, aka Ashton Fox, is also rising in the ranks of up-and-coming producers. With a background in classical music, Fox brings a unique, multi-faceted addition to TÂCHES’ Noir.
According to TÂCHES, “These are some sounds that Ashton Fox and I made using pizza, Chinese food, French bread, camembert, red wine, beer and oat biscuits with a smooth onion marmalade.” If you listen close enough, it’s easy to hear the comparison. The rising intro, steaming up like a hot pizza right out of the oven, followed by effortless melodies that go down smooth like a glass of red wine and pour out like a nice cold pint, all the while sleek, glossy beats serve as the French bread and butter (or smooth onion marmalade) of the track. Oh, and don’t forget that Christina Aguilera vocal sample.
