LA underground music company Low End Theory took their sound to a new heights this past Saturday, sharing their uniquely creative styles at SoCal’s Eagle Rock Music Festival. Having by far the biggest audience, there was no doubt by the crowd’s size and reactions that they had the most uniquely appealing and satisfying sound of the event. Featuring loads of DJs, including Gaslamp Killer, TOKiMONSTA, Nosaj Thing, and of course Flying Lotus, the founder Daddy Kev delivered one of their most proper shows to date.
With every performer rocking their own style in full force and fashion, the notorious Gaslamp Killer dealt plenty of grinding glitch hop. Also, continuing to give the streets of Eagle Rock another helping of their sound, Low End Theory graciously provided one of Nosaj Thing’s profoundly experimental performances. Giving away his love for hip hop, this LA artist even marked the occasion by dropping First Of The Month by Bone Thugs N Harmony. To finish off the night, the enormously expanded crowd got down to the always-inspiring sounds of Steven Ellison aka Flying Lotus. Check out our photos from the night here!
