Last Sunday, I had the pleasure of attending LED’s Anniversary, which was held in San Diego’s Sports Arena, and oh man; I don’t think I’ve raged that hard in a long time. Getting into the place was a bit tricky with just one entrance, but once I got inside there was grand podium-like stage setup. Another bonus was the excellent sound quality that was clear and well-balanced. The real treat however, was the insanely proper lineup.
LED gave me the chance to see for the first time rising stars like Tommy Trash, Nicky Romero (see video below), and Knife Party all on one incredible stage! Also rocking the massive crowd came solid acts like the Bingo Players, Dirty South, and the bass-slamming heavyweight of SoCal, Kill The Noise. I was even impressed by the guys who closed out the event named No Body, who managed to hold the crowd around even after the main headliners. Overall the night was spectacular success with great sets, a great crowd, and an all-star lineup. Congratulations, San Diego; you know how to party!
