Unmistakable Dutch house maestro La Fuente (above) and burgeoning Scottish house producer Jamie Murray (below) have united to bring forth a seismic tune aimed squarely at the dancefloor called Buzzing. Exclusively brought to you in full length by LessThan3, the tune is set to release on Monday, March 25th on Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records, and will be La Fuente’s first work released on Mixmash for 2013. La Fuente scored tons of praise with his massive Mixmash tune Bang Bang back in 2011 and went on to ignite dancefloors in 2012 with his Spinnin’ Records release called Dounia. This collaboration with Jamie Murray is poised to pick up right where both tunes left off, delivering the same raw dancefloor energy fans are accustomed to hearing from La Fuente.
Buzzing starts off with an array of tribal drums and pitch-bending synthetic percussion, a signature sound La Fuente fans will recognize immediately. The tune eventually catapults into an uplifting phrase of enrapturing chords before sliding back into a deep groove filled with techy beats. After a single audition, it’s apparent that Jamie Murray and La Fuente have successfully married a rhythm-driven, progressive sound with a hands-in-the-air, rhapsodic musicality.
